Make Chemical Free Face Moisturizer with Essential Oils in 5 Minutes
Let’s be real – store-bought face cream is not only super expensive. In most cases – it’s packed with toxic ingredients. Sure, you can buy all-natural face cream, but why bother when you can make it in under 10 minutes at home for a lot cheaper? Let me show you how.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Glass mason jar
- 2 ounces organic unscented lotion or you can do like I do and just use unrefined coconut oil
- 10 drops frankincense essential oil
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
- 2 drops myrrh oil
All you need to do is put the organic unscented lotion or unrefined coconut oil in the Mason jar or another glass bowl with a lid, and add 10 drops of frankincense, 10 drops of lavender and 2 drops of myrrh oil. Mix it together and you have a wonderful face cream that soothes, hydrates and recovers. You can double or triple the recipe for more cream. You can also buy the organic base lotion in bulk to make this even cheaper.
You can also choose whichever essential oils call to you, and mix the oils with shea butter for your own DIY face moisturizer. Or, you can put essential oils in the creams you already own for additional benefits, though make sure the cream you’re using is organic and toxic-free. I use these essential oils and this is why.
