August is the month when I have a lot of classes for back to school survival so I wanted to share the essential oil blending recipes we made at these classes.  Back to school brings out all sorts of emotions for our children and for us as parents.  Then our kids are going to be exposed to the petri dish A.K.A. school, lol.  So I like to share some tips we use in our house because we are an empowered family.  In other countries they eat to stay healthy and go to the Doctor to stay healthy.  It is a about loving and respecting your body and supporting it while it is healthy.  🙂

Here are some of the great essential oil blending recipes we use in our home for back to school.  🙂 We make them all in 5 ml roller balls with stainless steel rollers.  We use  roller balls like these

Immune support essential oil blending recipe

20 drops of Lemon Essential oil

10 drops of Frankincense

15 drops of Oregano

15 drops of Thieves

15 drops of Peppermint

2 drops of Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree)

Drop the essential oils into the roller ball and then all you will need to do is fill the roller ball up the rest of the way  (keep it below the ridge because when you push roller ball top back in you don’t want it all to spill out.  Speaking from experience, lol)  with a carrier oil (coconut oil (unrefined), olive oil, macadamia nut oil, almond oil, apricot kernel seed oil)  We love coconut oil it is healthy and inexpensive to use. Olive oil is another one because it is readily available in our home.

Are you looking for something to soothe the jitters of our kiddos going back to school.   I love to do this anyway because it is so relaxing at bedtime.  Now keep in mind some of the essential oils can have a different outcome depending on your body chemistry.  My daughter cannot use lavender at night it wakes her up.  🙂   I love it at night but she gets a second wind.

I have another one that I call Daniel’s blend it was made for a friend and it helps to soothe him after he has had a seizure.  He gets these terrible seizures and then he is very fatigued afterwards and pretty banged up.  Emotionally the essential oils help soothe him which is something that is important for someone that has seizures.  Also keep in mind if someone has seizures there are essential oils that are not good for them so please do your research.  This is not for seizures he uses this to soothe afterwards.  This is something he has found helpful especially after he has had a seizure in a public place.

Daniel’s blend essential oil recipe

5 ml roller ball bottle

15 drops of Frankincense essential oil

5 drops of Clary Sage

He does not dilute this he just puts it in a roller ball and then applies to the crown of his head and the back of his neck.   It has been helpful for him as a soother.  🙂

These blends are amazing and this is what has worked for our family and friends.  I look forward to hearing your feedback.  It is very important to use a Therapeutic grade essential oil that is tested and pure.  If you want to learn more about that Click Here for my post to get additional information about quality.
