Garlic seems to work for everything I hear from my father, uncles and aunts in Greece. One of my father’s friends years ago even put garlic on his bald head to make his hair grow :-))). Seriously though, lots of people especially on the Mediterranean swear by garlic for almost anything except Halitosis :-))
